I did not have a chance to fire the gun until after Church.  The sun was setting and it was dusk, but I could see the sights well enough to shoot a group at 15 yards.  I fired the above group standing up, using a two-hand hold

The load was Black Hills factory cowboy loads .. a 210 gr. bullet at modest velocity. With these loads the sights are pretty close.  As I get a few other things together I will test the gun with various loads and see what it likes.  So far it looks like it's gonna be a shooter!
