Ball Repeating Carbine

Produced by Lamson & Co., Windsor, VT.  circa 1864

A .50 caliber rimfire, it used the same ammo as the Spencer.  The levergun had a 7-shot tube magazine located beneath the barrel. The ejection port doubled as the loading port, the magazine being filled through through it when the breech was opened.  The lever acts as triggerguard also.
