Winchester Model 1866
(Yellowboy)

This is the first levergun to bear the Winchester name. While the Model 73 usually is referred to by the name "The Rifle That Won The West" the title really applies to the Model 1866.

Produced from 1866 through 1898 in .44 rimfire with it's distinctive brass frame, it is easily distinguished from the Henry by the loading gate on the right side of the receiver and the fact that the Model 1866 has a forend.
